The sandbars are most beautiful during low tide, typically in the morning. We recommend visiting between November and May for the calmest waters.
How do we get there? +
Reach us by boat from the nearest town pier in Calatagan, Batangas. Local outrigger boats are available for island hopping tours that include Starfish Island.
Is it safe for children? +
Absolutely! The sandbars feature very shallow, calm waters ideal for children. We recommend bringing water shoes and sun protection.
Can we take the starfish home? +
Please do not remove starfish from the water — they are living creatures and part of a protected ecosystem. You're welcome to admire and photograph them.
